Croxley Hall Fisheries          Rickmansworth          Hertfordshire
Kingfisher Pool and Longwater Lake have been added to the existing seven acre Cressacres Lake for all Cressacres Carp Syndicate Members to fish for the 2008 Season.

Kingfisher Pool and Longwater are both approximately one acre in size. Both lakes were dug over 30 years ago and in common with all the lakes at Croxley Hall they have been landscaped extensively and subsequently have matured into beautiful lakes holding superb quality carp. Other coarse fish species are still present in both lakes including tench to 7lbs and the odd large pike but carp remain the predominant species.
Kingfisher Pool contains some specimen carp which were introduced many years ago when the lake was primarily fished for trout, some of these carp have yet to be caught.

Longwater is primarily a stalking water ideally fished using one rod. Because it has shallow areas along its length, carp are very visible during the warmer months and can be caught readily on the surface among the lily pads.

There is no night fishing on either lake to ensure they are not overfished, although this facility is allowed on Cressacres Lake. See full details under Syndicate Rules.

Kingfisher Pool and Longwater are only a short walking distance from the secure car park.

All of the lakes at Croxley Hall are well maintained with grass banks that are cut on a regular basis.
